The Telephone Banking Project encompasses the Voice Response Units and Customer Services Centers. When fully deployed it will have multiple Customer Service Centers (3 to 5) each, with over 600 agents. The Web Banking Project provides their consumer bank customers with a Web Browser interface to their accounts, as well as other financial services.
Nations Bank uses a Windows NT 3.51 environment (both desktop and server), with an Oracle database server running under HP-UX. The LAN topology is 100BaseT, even to the desktop. Their Customer Service Centers are inter-connected using a backbone nodal network. Both Projects fall within the Direct Banking Program.
