Summary: Everywhere where the word undefined is used it is not clear what this means, and the word may be used not only for Foo types, but also FooSelection classes, which makes it unclear what an undefined word means in the context. We suggest putting undefined between < and > and to state within the < and > the type which makes:
<undefined> for Foo
<undefined>Selection for FooSelection
Etc.
