Summary: Disjoint. In 16.2.3 (More Advanced Concepts), sixth paragraph, parenthetical remark should note that with UML Thing the same is true in UML). 

Resolution: Replace text as described below. (Note: this issue actually refers to the seventh paragraph)
Revised Text: Replace second and third sentences in seventh paragraph in section 16.2.3 which currently reads:
Both allow subclasses of a class to be declared disjoint. (In OWL, all classes are subclasses of Thing, so any pair of classes can be declared disjoint.)
with
Both allow any subclasses of a class to be declared disjoint.

Actions taken:
March 30, 2007: received issue
April 25, 2014: closed issue
Discussion: 
FTF resources were scarce and priority was given to issues against normative sections, hence many issues such as this were left unresolved.

Disposition:	Deferred to RTF
