Summary: There is a confusion regarding diagram 10.25. The word Condition means that the condition has to be met before the Activity/Process is initiated. However, the word ‘Default Condition’ conveys a wrong meaning. It is the word ‘Condition’ in the ‘Default Condition’ that is causing the confusion. Instead of saying ‘Default Condition’ can rather call it ‘Default’ or ‘Mandatory’. OR, if it mandatory then it should not branch out of a decision box and rather branch out of the Original Process.
