  Moreover, &lt;&lt;local&gt;&gt;, &lt;&lt;parameter&gt;&gt;, &lt;&lt;global&gt;&gt; and &lt;&lt;self&gt;&gt; are not

 supported by the metamodel, because a Link has a unary association to an
 Association, and a &lt;&lt;local&gt;&gt;, &lt;&lt;parameter&gt;&gt;, &lt;&lt;global&gt;&gt; and &lt;&lt;self&gt;&gt;
 Link do
 not refer to any association.
 

Resolution: Fixed in UML 1.3.
