Issue 12275: UML Super 2.1.2:Feature (uml2-rtf) Source: Mathworks (Mr. Alan Moore, alan.moore(at)mathworks.co.uk) Nature: Uncategorized Issue Severity: Summary: The Semantics section for Feature says: “A feature represents some characteristic for its featuring classifiers; this characteristic may be of the classifier’s instances considered individually (not static), or of the classifier itself (static). A Feature can be a feature of multiple classifiers. The same feature cannot be static in one context but not another.” It seems to me that the second sentence is simply a reiteration of the description of property “/ featuringClassifier: Classifier [0..*]” The third sentence could be expressed more usefully as a constraint. I’m also puzzled by the 0..* multiplicity on featuringClassifier. It would be useful if the description of Feature explained when a feature can have more than one featuring classifier.
