Issue 1239: IDL/file structure mapping (boca-rtf) Source: (, ) Nature: Revision Severity: Summary: Summary: BOCA The relationship between generated IDL and file structure is not defined by the BOCA specification. There could be several workable implementation-specific approaches to file structure, but without consistent file structure patterns the resultant idl would not be interoperable between different idl generator mechanisms. MOF IDL generation faces a similar situation, as documented in Mof-rtf issue 957. Also, work by Dan Frantz on the IDL Style Guide addresses some of the same issues. Recommendation: Work with Dan Frantz and mof-rtf to establish a consistent IDL/file structure mapping across BOCA, MOF, and the IDL Style Guide.
