The original thought was that this section is populated by later revisions. Suggest this be left for future versions/FTF. Resolution: Suggest this section be left empty with a short description regarding the notion of consistency across common devices. Future versions/FTF will expand this section with specific examples. Revised Text: In section 6.7 paragraph 1 Before This section contains standard device definitions. The intent of these definitions is to offer a degree of interoperability across device vendors. This allows GEMS users to swap GEMS devices of like types with minimal impact to application software. The notion of a dictionary is used rather than a strict taxonomy to more easily accommodate the wide variation of ground system equipment. Vendors are encouraged to use the standard parameter definitions. After In future revisions this section will contain industry standard device definitions. The intent of these definitions is to offer a degree of interoperability across device vendors. This allows GEMS users to swap GEMS devices of like types with minimal impact to application software. Remove the entire section 6.7.1 including subsections.
