 Stated as only a general issue at this point:  The need for MOF compliance required reengineering the 
 legacy CORBA IDL meta-model so that it could be expressed as a UML model following the MOF 
 constraints (such as only binary associations).  The legacy is also expressed in CDL.  The expression of the 
 CORBA IDL meta-model could probably be more obviously aligned with the structural features of the 
 interface repository types.  In this short RTF cycle it hasn’t been possible to delineate these adjustments, but 
 this should be addressed.
 
 Recommendation: Close study of this issue.
