Issue 15752: Terminate End Event in a Choreography with many Participants (bpmn2-rtf) Source: (, ) Nature: Clarification Severity: Significant Summary: i) Chapter/Section 11.5.3. Page 354. Table 11.8. Row “Terminate”. It says: “The use of the Terminate End Event really only works when there are only two (2) Participants. If there are more than two (2) Participants, then any Participant that was not involved in the last Choreography Task would not necessarily know that the Terminate End Event had been reached.” ii) Chapter/Section 11.6.5. Page 371. Figure 11.48. Four (4) Participants (Purchaser and Service Providers A, B, C) are involved, and it ends with a Terminate End Event. COMMENTS: According to (i), the Terminate End Event in Choreography depicted in (ii) doesn’t work. In (i) it is said “any Participant that was not involved in the last Choreography Task would not necessarily know that the Terminate End Event had been reached”, so it seems that in some cases Terminate End Event could work when there are More than two (2) Participants. SUGGESTIONS: Clarify whether the Terminate End Event in Figure 11.48 works or not.
