In the UML testing profile the stereotype is «TestCase» in the SysML profile it defines «testCase». If both profiles include it, which one is should be used? In the same model, you do not want one team using one and another using the other. 


Resolution: 

Coordinate the profiles so there is one Test Case stereotype for both, the SysML profile and UTP, i.e., update UTP to match SysML profile.

Discussion: 
There was a long discussion between UTP and SysML RTF. The outcome of this is that the UML profiling mechanism is not powerful enough. Since this is not an issue related to UTP, we will deal the following way with the issue.
Close the issue for UTP
Submit an issue to UML regarding deficiencies of the profiling mechanism 
Submit an issue to SysML to synchronize the UTP related concepts with the latest UTP specification
