Discussion: 
MOF requires substantial work to get all identifier right. This is true not only
URIExtents, but also for uuids of elements. Prerequisite is a merger of the four MOF
specification (MOF Core, SMOF, MOF Facility and MOF Version) into one
specification, and then apply a unified identification scheme. Therefore this resolution
needs to be deferred until then.
