Issue 19072: Further characteristics of Properties (odm-rtf) Source: Adaptive (Mr. Pete Rivett, pete.rivett(at)adaptive.com) Nature: Uncategorized Issue Severity: Summary: The ODM Metamodel and Profile should support OWL2 reflexive, irreflexive and asymmetric properties Resolution: see pages 203 - 205 of ptc/2013-12-01 for details Revised Text: Actions taken: November 8, 2013: received issue April 25, 2014: closed issue Discussion: Representation of properties was revised extensively for the profile via the resolution to 13977, 13979, and 13984 through 13986, although support for reflexive, irreflexive and asymmetric properties was not provided in that resolution. The resolution, below, revises the OWL 2 metamodel with respect to OWL object properties and makes similar revisions to the profile. Note that application of this resolution requires that the resolution to issues 13977, 13979, and 13984 through 13986 (all one resolution) is applied first. For the metamodel, rather than introducing a further subclass for each of the new characteristics, this provides an opportunity to rationalize the metamodel approach with the profile and use Booleans for each.
