Issue 2225: javax.rmi package use (java2idl-rtf) Source: (, ) Nature: Uncategorized Issue Severity: Summary: Summary: It has concerned me for a while the use of the javax.rmi package in the Java to IDL mapping. I think that PortableRemoteObject and other classes should be placed in a subpackage. We may in the future put subpackages in javax.rmi and would like it organized much better than it is currently. The PortableRemoteObject class should be put in a subpackage "portable" or something else. I"d like to raise this as an issue to discuss at the RTF. There are still other issues that are being ironed out, and I think that this one can be addressed along with the others.
