Revised Text: In section 10.6 change the sentence that  currently says: 
  
  This specification defines three formats: one derived from OMG IDL names, 
  one that uses DCE UUIDs, and another intended for short-term use, such as 
  in a development environment.

  one that uses OMG IDL names and Java serialization version UIDs, one that 
  uses DCE UUIDs, and another intended for short-term use, such as in a 
  development environment.

Proposed resolution:

Page 10-38, second line of first paragraph.  Change "three" to "four".

Page 10-38, third line of first paragraph.  After "IDL names" add
", one that uses OMG IDL names and Java serialization version UIDs".
