Issue 5007: The term “Analysis” is very ambiguous (uml-scheduling-ftf) Source: Commissariat a l Energie Atomique-CEA (Dr. Sebastien Gerard, sebastien.gerard(at)cea.fr) Nature: Uncategorized Issue Severity: Summary: The term “Analysis” is very ambiguous because if it is well understood by the majority of real-time system analysts I think it could be misunderstood by non real-time specialist modelers. Indeed, this terms is often used in process definition too as being the development stage where the modeler specify what the system has to do. And yet, this document will be certainly read by non real-time specialists too. To avoid such confusion, I propose to explicitly write “real-time analysis”. Resolution: See issue 4839 for disposition Revised Text: Actions taken: March 20, 2002: received issue June 30, 2003: closed issue Discussion: I thought I saw this one already (will check for duplicates). I will investigate a proper definition (Bran) End of Annotations:===== This is issue # 5007 The The term term is very ambiguous because if it is well understood by the majority of real-time system analysts I think it could be misunderstood by non real-time specialist modelers.
