Summary: We introduce the term “query” in order to fit to the isQuery meta-attribute of BehavioralFeature in UML specifying when true that the execution of a feature leaves the state of the system unchanged and conversely we introduce the term “modifying” to fit to the case where the isQuery value is false that is involving side-effects. This point is similar to the one pertaining to read and write operations. This new terms are just propositions and may be of course changed
