Summary: The ComponentExternalPortEndpoint and ExternalReferenceEndpoint
  classes are used by both the Component Data Model and Execution
  Data Model. They should therefore appear in the Common package.


Proposed resolution:


In section 3.4, "Component Data Model", cut the ComponentExternal-
PointEndpoint and ExternalReferenceEndpoint classes. Paste them
into section 3.10, "Common Elements."
