Issue 6005: cross-reference missing (uml2-rtf) Source: Honeywell (Mr. Steve Hickman, steve.hickman(at)honeywell.com) Nature: Clarification Severity: Significant Summary: The reference to TypedElement in the Expressions diagram for Core::Constructs makes no cross-reference to the definition of TypedElement in Core::Abstractions::TypedElements or Core::Basic. Is it a reference to either of these or is it yet another definition of a concept with the same name? Resolution: Revised Text: Actions taken: July 19, 2003: received issue February 18, 2005: moved from infrastructure August 23, 2006: closed issue Discussion: This is intentional because Abstractions and Basic are de-coupled from each other in the latest version of the Infrastructure. This allows the two to evolve independently. However, this is not explained very well (and is even incorrect) in the introduction to the Infrastructure, which needs to be rewritten substantively to clarify how these things relate to each other. That will be handled as part of the resolution to issue 6002.
