Issue 6069: Interface Figure 62 uses wrong notation (uml2-superstructure-ftf) Source: CA Technologies (Mr. Andrew John Haigh, andrew.haigh(at)ca.com) Nature: Uncategorized Issue Severity: Significant Summary: Figure 62 uses the wrong notation. The text says that it is using dependcy arrows - they are solid - one of them has a generalization arrow head. Also the interface 'ISensor' rectangle does not include <<interface>> with the name Resolution: see above, resolved Revised Text: Actions taken: August 21, 2003: received issue March 8, 2005: closed issue Discussion: Indeed Figure 62 did use the wrong notation by failing to have dashed lines and by failing to stereotype the Isensor as <<interface>>. The text description of the alternative notation is correct, and the resolution is to change the diagram, and only the diagram, so that it shows what the text description describes. In particular, in Figure 62, the arrow from TheftAlarm to Isensor is to be drawn with a dashed line with open arrowhead, the dependency arrow, and the arrow from ProximitySensor to Isensor is to be drawn with a dashed line with triangular arrowhead, which is the iimplements arrow. The stereotype <<interface>> is to be inserted at the head of the class name compartment of the Isensor no tation. Correct the grammar of the Figure 62 title by changing "depict" to "depicted".
