Summary: The operation getOrganizations() is defined in the SDO interface (see Section 2.3.3). It should be defined in SDOSystemElement. Both SDOs and non-SDOs can participate in an organization as described in Section 2.2.5. That is why the “organizations” attribute is defined in SDOSystemElement (see Section 2.2.3) so that it can be derived to SDOs and non-SDOs. Then, it is logical to define getOrganizations() in SDOSystemElement. In fact, get_organizations() is defined in the SDOSystemElement interface in the proposed PSM (see Section 3.4.1).
