Issue 6691: Consistent Naming (uml2-superstructure-ftf) Source: TimeWarp Engineering Ltd. (Mr. Steven T. Cramer, scramer(at)timewarpllc.com) Nature: Uncategorized Issue Severity: Summary: Associations with and end on the class Value Specification that subset owner have inconsistent names: ownerUpper ownerLower owningConstraint owningInstanceSpec owningParameter owningProperty owningSlot I would recommend renaming ownerUpper and ownerLower to owningUpper and owningLower to be consistent. All other properties that subset owner on other classes should be renamed consistently: Resolution: see above Revised Text: Actions taken: December 11, 2003: received issue March 8, 2005: closed issue Discussion: This is being rather picky, but is an easy change in both the Infrastructure and Sueprstructure (since these are non-navigable association ends they are not actually referenced in the text). Superstructure resolution: In figure 10 on page 40, change the association end names “ownerUpper” and “ownerLower” to “owningUpper” and “ownignLower” respectively. Infrastructure resolution: In figure 46 on page 75, change the association end names “ownerUpper” and “ownerLower” to “owningUpper” and “ownignLower” respectively.
