Issue 6870: UML 2 Super / state machines / non-existent property reference (uml2-superstructure-ftf) Source: Simula Research Laboratory (Mr. Bran Selic, selic(at)acm.org) Nature: Uncategorized Issue Severity: Summary: Constraints 4 and 6 in section 15.3.8 (page 470) refer to the non-existent stateMachine property on PseudoState (i.e. self.stateMachine). Resolution: see above Revised Text: Actions taken: December 31, 2003: received issue March 8, 2005: closed issue Discussion: This issue was resolved as part of the solution to issue 6872. However, the diagram that resulted from that fix, incorrectly names the association end Pseudostate::stateMachine as ‘Pseudostate::state machine’. The corresponding text entry is OK and has the proper name (stateMachine). The following fix needs to be overlaid on top of the change for fix 6872: ?? In the diagram for StateMachines (fig. 354 on page 457 of the FAS), change the name of the Pseudostate::state machine association end to “stateMachine” ??
