Issue 7258: UML diagram interchange: views may need more context (uml2di-ftf) Source: International Business Machines (Mr. Bran Selic, selic@acm.org selicb@ca.ibm.com bran.selic@gmail.com) Nature: Uncategorized Issue Severity: Summary: The semantic bridge contains either a single reference property or a simple string. Some views, however, need more semantic context than that. (eg: pattern instance views need two semantic references to represent the semantic context). Resolution: Revised Text: Actions taken: April 22, 2004: received issue November 1, 2005: closed issue Discussion: Discussion: The concept is that every GraphElement represents at most one semantic element. If needed the GraphElements are nested. Each nested GraphElement is 'responsible' for one of the semantic model elements and one GraphElement is the container and represents the whole semantic item. This container-GraphElement has typically a SimpleSemanticModelElement. Disposition: Closed, no change has to be made End of Annotations:===== To: issues@omg.org Subject: UML diagram interchange: views may need more context X-Mailer: Lotus Notes Release 6.0.2CF1 June 9, 2003 From: Branislav Selic Date: Thu, 22 Apr 2004 17:39:35 -0400 X-MIMETrack: Serialize by Router on D25ML05/25/M/IBM(Release 6.0.2CF1|June 9, 2003) at 04/22/2004 17:39:38, Serialize complete at 04/22/2004 17:39:38 The semantic bridge contains either a single reference property or a simple string.
