In it's simplest form, Message describes sending an asynchronous signal from the Sender to the Receiver. If you want to model more complex protocols, you might want to first of all decide on the intermediary objects involed in the communication (in case the copy of the message comes from the lower levels of the protocol) or simply use a found message. Particular constraint on the Message signatures are explicitly listed in the Interaction section, page 429. There is also some work in progress in this area that you might need to be aware of.
