Issue 7784: UML 2 Superstructure - cross-hair notation for nested classes (uml2-superstructure-ftf) Source: The MathWorks (Mr. Alan Moore, alan.moore(at)mathworks.co.uk) Nature: Uncategorized Issue Severity: Summary: The cross-hair notation is specified as an alternate notation for showing the containment of classifiers in packages, but there is no mention of the use of this notation for nesting classifiers within classes - this notation was present in UML 1.4 and so for backwards compatibility reasons should be in 2.0 also. I also note that the cross-hair notation does not appear in the diagrams section of Classes.
