Issue 9561: Message Flow ordering along Pool (abst process) is modeled only graphically (bpmn-ftf) Source: Capability Measurement (Mr. Karl Frank, Karl.Frank@ngc.com karl.frank@ngc.com karl.karolus@gmail.com karl.frank@capabilitymeasurement.com) Nature: Uncategorized Issue Severity: Summary: Message Flow ordering along Pool (abstract process) is modeled only graphically. A specification of in/out indices to message flows is a solution. Otherwise it's impossible to tell from the model order of message receive/send for certain pool Resolution: Revised Text: Actions taken: April 13, 2006: received issue Discussion: Discussion: While the Issue may be valid, it represents potentially significant modifications. A full metamodel is the remit of BPDM: surely we don't need two of the things! Also, I'll note that message order cannot necessarily be determined at design time, so some mechanism for an "I don't know" index value would be required. In general, this class of thing seems to me to be better left to a choreography specification. A specification of in/out indices to message flows is a solution. Otherwise it's impossible to tell from the model order of message receive/send for certain pool.
