But these triggers are treated as alternatives ... i.e., they have 'or' semantics. It is very common to require multiple triggers with 'and' semantics. That is, all of the triggers must be satisfied before the process will start. A possible graphical notation is to to use the '+' symbol inside of the event circle. This would then be consistent with the notation used to designate 'and' semantics in gateways.
