A summarizing article by Benton, Konnerth and Markel.
The OMG uses a document numbering scheme with the following format:group/year-month-index
where group is an abbreviated name for the group (e.g., "lifesci"), year and month are two digit figures that indicate the date of the document and index is a two digit incremental count assigned to the documents submitted in any one month, so lifesci/98-02-01 indicates the first document submitted in February 1998 by the LSR group.
LSR documents are OMG documents so they use the same format. Note that when the LSR group was a DSIG many of its documents were published via the OMG medical informatics group - CORBAmed, these documents will be available as "corbamed/xx-xx-xx".
