Green Computing Think Tank
Beyond the Data Center: Greening the Business Process

Monday, July 13, 2009, Arlington, VA

While to date much of the discussion surrounding the “Greening” of IT has been focused on data centers and equipment metering, advanced sustainability means taking a holistic view of the full business ecosystem. This means business and IT working together to ensure all bases are covered. This think tank will provide attendees with leading edge strategies for achieving maximum sustainability in the form of resource optimization (money, people, space, energy, etc.).

Topics covered include business process optimization, green data management, green governance, creating a sustainability center of excellence (SCOE) and more.

Through our round-table format all participants work together or share experiences, solve issues, discuss strategies and lay the groundwork for further work in this exciting area of business sustainability.
