Agenda & Objectives:
This will be a formative meeting to discuss the creation of a Security Fabric Special Interest Group as well as a discussion on a "community of practice", which is presently an informal consortium called the Security Fabric Alliance focused on functional operational requirements using lean developments.
Richard Mark Soley, PhD, Chairman & CEO, Object Management

will give the audience a brief introduction on what SF SIG is
and what it wants to achieve. Dr. Soley will also introduce
Norman Eaglestone, Chief Systems Engineer of MACE Fusion
Eaglestone will present a brief history of critical
infrastructure security issues with focuses on the White
House, NSA, DHS, nuclear power stations and electric grids.
The argument on the critical need of security will be made.

securing systems ranging from the Electric GRID to securing ship systems, to
the war fighter at the tactical edge.

Security Fabric Alliance, a growing community of practicing
professionals who are committed to achieving end-to-end

Watson, Vice President and Technical Director, Object
Andrew Watson will take the audience through the process of
adopting a specification as an official OMG standard.
Eaglestone, Chief Systems Engineer, MACE Fusion Center
Eaglestone will lead an open audience discussion on what the
SF SIG needs to work on and ideas for the SFA. Mr. Eaglestone
will also make closing comments to wrap-up the meeting.
