EMERGING STANDARDS FOR
SERVICE-ORIENTED ARCHITECTURES
This session will provide overviews and status reports on a variety
of emerging SOA standards. These will include:
- Emerging Web Services standards including WSDL and WSDL-S,
WS-Policy Framework, WS-Security and WS-I Basic Security Profile
and Web Ontology for Services (OWL-S)
- Open Service Oriented Architecture (OSOA) Standards, including
Service Component Architecture (SCA), Service Data Objects (SDO)
and Open Source Tools
- Information Sharing for SOA including Service Data Objects and
Model-based Data Engineering for Composable Web Services
All attendees are invited to the OMG Technical Meeting Reception
Wednesday evening beginning at 1800 after the conclusion of the
seminar.
