EMERGING STANDARDS FOR SERVICE-ORIENTED ARCHITECTURES

This session will provide overviews and status reports on a variety of emerging SOA standards.  These will include:

• Emerging Web Services standards including WSDL and WSDL-S, WS-Policy Framework, WS-Security and WS-I Basic Security Profile and Web Ontology for Services (OWL-S)
• Open Service Oriented Architecture (OSOA) Standards, including Service Component Architecture (SCA), Service Data Objects (SDO) and Open Source Tools
• Information Sharing for SOA including Service Data Objects and Model-based Data Engineering for Composable Web Services
