Software Assurance (SwA) Information Session: 
Open Standard Based Enabling Technologies to Achieve Higher Software Security

The primary mission of the SwA ABSIG is to work with OMG's Platform and Domain Task Forces and other software industry entities and groups external to the OMG, to coordinate the establishment of a common framework for analysis and exchange of information related to software trustworthiness. To that end, the goal of the SwA SIG is to facilitate the development of a specification for a Software Assurance Framework.

This session will provide an overview of the current software assurance strategies, programs, tools and technologies and focus on future needs, directions and next steps.
