In this "brave new world" of mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing, and
electronic commerce what security challenges do developers face?  In an
unpredictable heterogeneous business and computing environment they (we)
need secure, interoperable, and above all standard solutions.  I will try
to point out the problems faced by information technology professionals
today and how I think vendors should approach these problems.  I have
implemented security solutions in a large company and I will share some of
my experiences with the audience.
