that Sandy Carter, Vice President, SOA & WebSphere Strategy, Channels
and Marketing, IBM will be giving presentations at their upcoming general
meetings and holding a book signing for her latest book, in Washington,
D.C. at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City hotel. For more information on the

During the SOA Consortium meeting on March 25-26, Sandy Carter,
recently recognized by Fast
Company magazine as one of the most influential executive women in
technology, will speak to attendees on how the "Smart SOA™"
approach can help in a tough economic climate. Her presentation is
scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, March 25.
The OMG meeting will be held March 23-27, 2009, with Sandy giving a
Plenary to the joint OMG/SOA Consortium lunch on Wednesday, March 25.
Immediately after her plenary presentation, Sandy will be available for a
half-hour book signing of her most recent publication: "The New
Language of Marketing 2.0."
