OMG Celebrates 20 Years of Setting the Standards at First Latin American Technical Meeting
Standards Advanced at Meeting June 22-26
that also featured Spanish-language Information Days

Needham, MA, USA - July 14, 2009 - Members of the OMG™ met in San Jose, Costa Rica during the week of June 22-26, 2009. At this meeting, one specification and five final reports finished the adoption process and were approved by the OMG Board of Directors. The Technology Committees approved the issuance of two new requests for proposal.

Get Involved: Processes Open for Participation
OMG is an open-membership organization and welcomes any organization, government agency, or university to join and contribute to our specifications. The following were issued in San Jose, Costa Rica and are currently open to participation.

Non-members may download information on any Request process from http://www.omg.org/public_schedule. For some processes, member votes have extended the Letter of Intent (LOI) dates beyond the deadline stated in the Request for Proposals (RFP).
