Business Ecology Initiative Announces Webinar Series
Twice-Monthly thought leadership series focuses
on business process excellence and
making organizations more responsive, sustainable and secure
Needham, MA, USA - May 2, 2011 - OMG's® Business
Ecology® Initiative (BEI) today announced the BEI Webinar
Series. Each webinar in the series will examine trends, best
practices and hot button issues in one of five categories:
Business Planning & Design, Business Process Excellence,
Intelligent Business, Sustainable Business, and Secure
Business - the five main focus areas of the BEI and its
communities of practice. The first four webinars will be
held on Fridays beginning on May 6. Beginning June 28, the
webinar series will move to its regular schedule of the 2nd
and 4th Tuesdays of each month. For more information on the

"Organizations today are hampered by outmoded,
siloed structures and processes," said Abbie Lundberg,
executive director, BEI. "The Business Ecology
Initiative is committed to breaking down silos and helping
organizations increase their business velocity and become
more responsive, sustainable and secure.
"The new webinar series builds on the success of the
Business Process Excellence community of practice's Center
of Excellence webinar series, led by BPE CoP co-chair Mohan
Bavirisetty. Moving forward, all five CoPs will contribute
to the series by engaging thought leaders in each of the
five BEI areas of focus."
The first four webinars will be on Fridays at 11:00 a.m.
