OMG’s Members Elect Representatives
from
Citigroup, Escape Velocity and SAP AG to Board of Directors
Needham, MA – October 11, 2011 – OMG® members elected
Eric Chacon of Citigroup, Bob Daniel of Escape Velocity, and
David Frankel of SAP, to terms on the OMG Board of Directors
during their quarterly Technical Meeting on September 20 in
Orlando, FL. In addition, nine Board members were re-elected
to the Board.

“Reflecting on OMG's even mix of end-user companies,
systems integrators and vendors, our three new Board members
feature one of each. But the unifying theme among the three
is tremendous expertise in delivering integrated information
and business processes in many different vertical markets,
exactly what OMG standards are designed to deliver. We are
gratified to have so many excellent leaders in the IT field
join (and re-join) the OMG Board,” said Richard Mark Soley,
Ph.D., chairman and CEO, OMG.
In addition to the Board of Directors election, five new
specifications completed the standards adoption process and
were approved by the Board. Seven new processes were
initiatied with the issuance of RFPs or RFIs, bringing the
total number of standards processes currently underway to
94.
