Object Management Group and iSQI Sign Marketing Agreement to Advance Software Standards Certification

Needham, MA, May 11, 2015 – Richard Soley, Chairman and CEO of the Object Management Group® (OMG®) and Stephan Goericke, CEO of the International Software Quality Institute (iSQI®), today announced that the two parties have entered into a joint agreement to market their respective modeling certification programs to IT professionals.

Under the agreement, effective as of May 11, 2015, OMG will market iSQI's Certified Model Based Tester (CMBT) certificate alongside the OMG series of certification programs in the areas of software modeling, business modeling, model-based systems engineering, and real-time and embedded systems. iSQI will include OMG certification programs in conjunction with hardcopy and online materials related to its CMBT certificate.

Soley commented, "As leaders in certifying IT talent, both OMG and iSQI believe that continuous professional development is an important validation for every IT professional. Today's announcement also reinforces our mission to encourage the adoption of standards and software quality that drive higher customer satisfaction."
