This paper attempts to highlight the significance and value proposition of leveraging the fundamental principle and concepts behind "Model Driven Architecture" and "Service Driven Architectures" -- what is more commonly know as "Service Oriented Architectures", for XML based "Web Services." "Web Services" being one of the later instantiations prior to which we've had CORBA or JINI based Services Oriented Architectures.
