Subject Area Concepts This subject area includes the entities pertinent to the shipping and delivery of customer orders. It includes shipment destination, customer contact information, carrier information, shipment origin and the association between the shipment and the RetailTransaction that captures and settles the sale resulting from that shipment. ARTS ODM 7.0/7.1 adds three new entities to improve customer delivery instruction and preference coverage. The CustomerDeliveryInstruction entity documents customer specified delivery service requirements and references CustomerDeliveryPreference entities which identify secondary addresses and preferred delivery times (CustomerDeliveryPreferenceTime). |
