Subject Area Concepts This subject area identifies and describes retailer jobs. In ARTS a Job is a description of duties, responsibilities, and functions. A Position is an organization place holder linked to a job. There may be many Position entities for a given Job. When a Worker is assigned to a Position through the WorkerPositionAssignment entity, the position is filled. A Position may be filled by one or more Worker entities (position sharing). Jobs are further described by the tasks they perform. The JobTaskSet, TaskSet, Task entities and relationships provide retailers with a granular method for defining jobs. Additionally, entities are provided to document worker certifications for certain tasks. |
