09:05-10:00 | Enabling Full-lifecycle Cybersecurity for Connected Vehicles – A Ontology-Based Approach to Improving Enterprise Capability, Stephen Powley (Coventry University) Abstract: This presentation will demonstrate how modelling of business and engineeringpractices can help automotive enterprises develop the capabilities they need tokeep connected vehicles secure throughout their life-cycle. It shows howtreating business improvement as an engineering problem and applying ontologyengineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques improves howcapability needs are captured and evaluated. Novel modelling techniques havebeen developed allowing for multiple points of view to be represented in thesame model. This is combined with anontologically well-founded architecture framework for modelling of evaluationsand relating these stakeholder needs. Case studies demonstrate the value of therelated methods for improving standards-based practice in the automotiveindustry relating to cybersecurity. |
