14:30-15:30 Guidance Documents Discussion
I'd like to discuss a catalog of guidance documents for the AB to shepherd.  Guidance would include both for the AB, and authors and groups coming before the AB, along the lines of the xTF Guidelines document (ab/20-06-02).  The initial list I have in mind:
  1. AB evaluation criteria - A guide for ourselves, to make explicit our best practices, including what we should be looking for in each kind of document (this will inform a refresh of the templates, by making sure that they contain instructions on what is needed for this stage of the process)
  2. Welcome to the AB - A guide for new AB members, covering schedule, expectations for each qtr cycle, etc
  3. What to expect with the AB - A general guide for people coming before the AB
  4. RFI Guidelines (not officially a task of ours, but we can at least give our thoughts on RFIs)
  5. RFP Guidelines
  6. RFC Guidelines

The final three are in the same vein as the xTF Guidelines, and we can almost certainly grab info from them, or, more efficiently, refactor portions out for general advice.

These would not be formal process documents, these would, again, be in the same style as the xTF Guidelines: precedent, intent, and setting of expectations, instead of process.

We're starting to dive into the finer points of that process however, and model them for real. Time to have a discussion on what would best be suited for that, and how to divide the effort.  (Also, AsIs P&P vs. Idealized P&P.)

Finally, Retail has produced a document on diversity language in their space that is worth looking at. Andy Mattice has requested a few minutes at the Fri plenary to introduce it for comments gathering. I'd like us to take a quick peek first. https://www.omg.org/cgi-bin/doc?retail/2021-02-01
