DDS™ in the Real-World: Focus on Security
This tutorial covers the fundamentals of Object Management Group's Data-Distribution Serivce™ (DDS) and the mechanisms available to meet real-world application needs. We will cover DDS discovery, state management, information consistency, data durability, reliability, scalable information distribution, and quality-of-service (Qos). We will also cover the security mechanisms newly added by the DDS-Security specification.
The tutorial will use actual deployed application examples in Energy, Autonomous Vehicles, Medical Systems, and others, to illustrate how the DDS features and Qos are deployed to meet the application needs.
