Agenda Details

Note: Although the lists below are each Working Group's best advance estimate of the work to be accomplished and the issues to be addressed at its next meeting, agenda details may change at any time prior to a meeting's adjournment.

Plenary Sessions

The primary plenary business of the LSR will be:

Architecture & Roadmap WG

Bibliographic Services WG

The working group will not meet in Boston.

Cheminformatics WG

The strategy of the Cheminformatics Working Group is:
  1. First to establish standard interfaces for chemical structures and queries on collections of chemical structures (a limited definition which is confined to well connected graphs plus salts plus tautomers, two dimensional representations plus stereochemistry as known plus 3D coordinates as known)
  2. Second to spawn two independent streams of activity:
  3. Future and additional work will be undertaken when sufficient interest emerges to shepherd that work through completion in addition to the above topics.
What's happening now?

Gene Expression WG

The WG will evaluate revised submissions against the Gene Expression RFP.

LECIS WG

The WG will evaluate revised submissions against the LECIS RFP.

Macromolecular Structure WG

The WG will not meet in Boston.

Sequence Analysis WG

The WG will collect and consolidate feedback to submitters on the initial Biomolecular Sequence Analysis Entities (BSANE) RFP submission.

Visualization & User Interfaces WG

The WG will not meet in Boston.

Web Pages WG

The Web Pages Working Group will review the status of the LSR Web presence and evaluate submissions in the LSR logo competition.

Workflow proto-WG

The Workflow WG will develop a summary of the workflow-technology related initiatives in other OMG task forces, and kick-off a discussion on whether an RFP for the LSR Workflow is reasonable.

Bibliographic Query Service FTF
