Join us on Wednesday, September 25th in New Brunswick, NJ. This all-day conference sponsored by MphasiS, will stress the importance of employing financial data semantics in business operations as well as spotlight case studies of multinational financial service corporations that have had great success using semantics.

Keynote Presenters include Corby Dear,  Bloomberg BBGID and Open Symbology Project Manager at Bloomberg, presenting  "Market Practice Standardization makes Perfect"  and Ramanathan Srikumar, Senior Vice President and Head of Application Delivery, Banking and Capital Markets at MphasiS, presenting "Building and Sustaining an Enterprise-Wide Semantic Web Ecosystem". Sessions will include the talk "Prerequisites for Analytics: Data Stewardship and Data Sharing" by Stan Christaens, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, Collibra, as well as a case study on “Mastering Enterprise Metadata with Semantic Modeling," presented by Suresh Nair, Vice President and Chief Architect Financial Services at MphasiS. A panel featuring representatives from the largest financial service corporations in the U.S. will discuss why businesses need to have financial data semantics.

The day’s events will also include a session outlining the work done by the OMG Finance Domain Task Force in creating a Financial Industry Business Ontology standard. This event is open to both OMG members and all interested nonmembers.
