Subject Area Concepts This subject area contains the ARTS core item inventory and stock ledger entities that implement the concepts discussed in the Inventory Stewardship topic. The subject area presents the following core entity groups: •The source transactions and inventory control documents used to capture inventory movement counts and monetary value (pink block); •The journal entities that associate source transactions and inventory control sources to inventory unit control location-inventory state-revenue cost center and inventory financial value to stock ledger account (light orange block); •The unit record perpetual inventory (ItemInventory) and reporting period history (ItemInventoryHistory) which maintains item-level counts (light blue block); and •The financial, stock ledger entities that maintain the inventory count and monetary value (at retail and cost) for a revenue cost center account.
