Version 7.2 to Version 7.3 Subject Area Changes

Version 7.3 of the ARTS ODM adds and drops a number of subject areas. As discussed in Major New Features and Extensions, the major changes centered on adding new subject areas. Some the new subject areas consolidated entities and relationships making some older more limited subject areas redundant. The table here lists the new and dropped subject areas

Dropped Subject Areas

Some subject areas will be dropped from the ODM V7.3 data model. A number of the new subject areas consolidate entities and make the old views redundant.

The following subject areas are dropped from the ARTS ODM V7.3 data model. They are retained for documentation purposes in the ERWIN Data Model. In ERWIN they have a 'Z_' prefix added before the name. These ERWIN subject areas are presented to show dropped and replaced subject areas. They should be treated as background information NOT a part of the formal, released data model.
