The three OMG™ Certification programs - OCUP™ for UML Practitioners,  OCRES™ for Real-time and Embedded Developers, and the emerging OCEB™ for BPM Practitioners - are managed jointly by OMG and our Certification Partner company, the UML Technology Institute (UTI) of Tokyo, Japan. 

OMG manages certifications for these programs in the Americas, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa), and India. UTI manages certifications in Asia-Pacific except for India. 

OMG Has Switched to Testing Provider Pearson VUE

IN OMG'S COUNTRIES ONLY -  since the start date of June 16, 2008 - certification examinations  for our  programs OCUP for UML Practitioners, and OCRES for Real-time and Embedded Developers are being administered by Pearson VUE at their world-wide network of secure testing centers. 

In the countries managed by UTI (Asia-Pacific except for India), there will be no change - these examinations will continue to be administered by Prometric.

The OCEB Beta Examinations will be available only through Pearson VUE. Currently, this means that it will be available only in OMG's countries. UTI may contract with Pearson VUE to make the OCEB Beta examinations available in their territory as well. For more information about this, consult the UTI website from time to time.
